Submitting a Complaint
Complaints may be submitted via email to the journal’s editorial office, including the following information:

Complaint Handling Procedure
Acknowledgment: Receipt of the complaint will be formally acknowledged within eight (8) business days.
Initial Assessment: The editorial team will conduct an initial evaluation of the complaint and provide a preliminary response within fifteen (15) business days.
Investigation: When necessary, Journal Social Research (JSR) will carry out a comprehensive investigation, which may involve authors, reviewers, or other relevant parties.
Resolution:
A final decision, together with a clear explanation of its rationale, will be communicated to the complainant.
If the complaint is upheld, corrective actions may include, but are not limited to:

Right to Appeal
If the complainant is not satisfied with the outcome of the complaint, they have the right to submit an appeal. This process ensures that all concerns are addressed with fairness, transparency, and due process.
Appeals Procedure
How to Appeal: Appeals must be submitted in writing to the editorial office of Journal Social Research (JSR), clearly stating the grounds for the appeal and including any relevant supporting documentation.
Timeframe: Appeals must be filed within fifteen (15) business days following communication of the initial decision.
Independent Review: An independent panel composed of editorial board members not previously involved in the case will review the appeal to ensure objectivity and impartiality, considering all submitted evidence and arguments.
Outcome Notification: The final decision on the appeal will be communicated to the appellant, accompanied by a detailed explanation of the reasons supporting the decision.
